Bandhavgarh National Park, India 

The wildlife safaris in Kanha and Bandhavgarh are truly full of fun and adventure. Stretched over Vindhya Mountain ranges in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh National Park houses India’s highest population of tigers. The vegetation in this national park is ranging from dense forests to tall grasslands.  Hence, it is an ideal habitat for a lot of birds and animals. It has got steep ridges, rocky terrains, lush meadows, and dense vegetation. Bandhavgarh is well recognized as the ideal heaven in India which was once heaven to majestic white tigers. Today, it houses over 50 Bengal tigers along with several wildlife species. 

Kanha National Park, India 

By gaining popularity from the best-selling novel The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, Kanha National Park is one of the best-preserved national parks in Asia. It is well regarded for the conservation of near-extinct Barasinga and its Tiger Reserve. You can explore great number of bird populations and diverse wildlife here. The major highlight here is the Bamni Dadar’s sunset view. The national park has the lush green landscape dotted with gaurs, grazing sambhars, and herds of elephants. 

Jim Corbett National Park, India 

Established as Hailey National Park in 1936, Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India and was built to conserve the Bengal tiger. Named after Indian/British hunter cum conservationist, Jim Corbett was the first national to fall under Project Tiger initiative by the Government of India.  Stretched over 201 sq miles of diverse landscapes like rivers, hills, grasslands, and lakes, the national park is well located in the sub-Himalayan state of Uttarakhand with elevations from 1300 to 4000 ft. Around 75% of the park is covered under dense forests with over 50 mammal species, 25 reptile species, 580 bird species and 110 types of trees. Jim Corbett National Park is one of the 13 regions in India and Nepal and is covered under the Terai Arc Landscape Program by WWF. The program is aimed to preserve Bengal Tiger as well as flagship species like the Indian Rhinoceros and Asian elephants with forest corridors.
