Jungle Safari Charges

Jungle or tiger safari is organized by the forest department in the tourism zone of the park. In order to visit these zones in the park one needs a permit which is the charge for the excursions on jeep. Hence while booking directly or through the website one needs to pay the requisite amount.   The charges for entry in buffers zones may be less.

Note only those members whose name has been added in the permit with photo ID details are allowed in the jeep. Online safari can be book 120 days before at 11 AM every morning.

Add On Safari Booking

Addition to the jeep in case of the empty seat has to be made forty-eight hours in advance. For add on booking 2 people names are mandatory & the first person will be considered a leader required at the time of entry otherwise without his presence ticket will be considered canceled.

Later you can add 4 more people but before 48 hours before paying the same amount. Change of name and change of date’s zones are not allowed but one can revise the dates if safari online is available.

Charges for foreigners and locals are the same. Seating is limited to six tourists in a jeep while 12 tourists are allowed in the canter. Children under five years are allowed with adults free of cost.  Additional a registered driver and guide is a must in the jeep.

Jeep charges and guide fees have to be paid separately at the time of the visit.

Safari times are usually entry at dawn and exit at 11.00 pm while in the evening entry at 3.00pm and 4.00 pm in summer and exit at sunset.

Since during rush time permits may not be available one needs to book in advance. The details are given below. Please book a safari at least four months or 120 days in advance.

Looking for jungle safari if you don’t have advance safari tickets there are possibilities to get tickets on a current basis All bookings are current on the spot on basis of first come first serve also canter safari on current basis. Full day safari also options for wildlife lovers and photographers.

Begins half hour early and ends half hour late from regular safaris. There is no zone limit in this case.

Regular Jungle Safari

Morning & Evening Safari


Recently canters with a seating capacity of 18 tourists are being operated. All bookings are current on the spot and on the basis of first come first serve. Canters only allowed in Magdhi Zone and Khituli Zones.

Full Seat Permit :-

People who are interested in excursions alone, like photographers, family or with friends, then book full permit tickets for safari. On full permit booking, you will be picked up from Resorts and dropped back.

Single Seat Permit :- Sharing

It is for single travelers who cannot afford a lot of money then they can book single-seat permit sharing safari with other people. Tourist has to report at the main gate of the park an hour before for ticket verifications for payments at the main gate of the park charges for Jeeps and Guide.

On full single-seat permit booking, you have to go by yourself from the hotel main gate and will be dropped back at the gate. Single-seat permit ticket at the time of safari depends on how many people are traveling so the cost of the jeep & guide will be divided accordingly.
